Location

Alcalá la Real lies in the southern part of the province of Jaen, near the boundary with the provinces of Cordoba and Granada. The principal access route is the N-432 highway running between the cities of Cordoba and Granada, and there is a bus station with bus services between Alcalá la Real and the other main towns in the province.
