Cabra lies at the geographical centre of Andalusia on the edge of a mountain range in the heart of the Parque Natural de las Sierras Subbéticas (Sierras Subbéticas Nature Park). It has an altitude of 448m. The city is very well communicated via the A-45 Malaga-Cordoba dual-carriageway.
